In this system, a total of six laser cutting systems are supplied via two LaserFLEX automation lines. The sheet metal is supplied centrally via a single-line MIDI storage system turned through 90°. The storage system's storage and retrieval machine serves both automation lines.
An automation system with a LoopFLEX conveyor belt and fully automatic parts sorting using SortFLEX robotics is provided for the removal of the cut parts. The cut metal sheets can be transported directly to the adjacent bending machines via an AGV station. There, the sheet metal parts can be processed directly without the intermediate palletizing step.
