The stacks of corrugated cardboard are picked up via telescopic forks that extend to both sides of the storage and retrieval machine and transferred to the MINDA conveyor belt solutions. The development of the SRM is an adaptation of Remmert's single-track SRM series. In addition, the Remmert software was adapted in the project to integrate existing elements from MINDA into a powerful and automated intralogistics system.

Storage and retrieval machine for the cardboard industry
MINDA is an expert in special machine construction that manufactures innovative and customer-specific solutions for in-house material handling and intralogistics. Remmert was commissioned to develop a tower racking system that works without pallets and can handle bulky products directly and without load carriers.

The single-lane storage and retrieval machine moves between the rows of racks and picks up stacks of corrugated cardboard on both sides. The storage system serves as a buffer store between the high-bay racking and production.
