Since 2006, SCHMOBI has been operating a fully automated sawing center. The central elements are a storage and handling system from Remmert with direct connection to three band saws and two circular saws. Storage and material transport are organized in storage cassettes. Removal and storage of the long goods is fully automatic, as is the transfer to the sawing cells via a Remmert gantry robot "PICK system". Up to 20,000 items are set up annually.
