Smart sheet metal processing with high production speed
FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. is a production site for metal and plastic components in Pardubice, Czech Republic, belonging to the FOXCONN Group, one of the world's largest providers of complete IT solutions. The production, which offers plastic injection moulding and the entire spectrum of metal processing, was characterized by predominantly manual work processes. As part of a company-wide initiative to invest in Industry 4.0 processes, Foxconn CZ decided to introduce automated processes. As a result, several sheet metal processing machines from different manufacturers are now supplied from a central Remmert sheet metal storage system, which significantly increases productivity and occupational safety.
Two Bystronic laser cutting machines are supplied from the sheet metal warehouse via a LaserFLEX automation line. Several Amada punching machines are also connected to the warehouse.
