Together with the DECCO project team, the Remmert team first analyzed various solutions. In doing so, it was examined how well these could meet the customer's requirements. In a joint decision-making process, the honeycomb warehouse with 2,225 storage spaces was ultimately identified as the best solution for DECCO's production and storage site in Suwalki.

Honeycomb bearing for window profiles with high fire protection requirements
DECCO S.A. has been growing continuously since its foundation in 2004. However, in order to maintain this steady growth, the logistics, picking and storage also had to be adapted to the increasing sales figures.

Over 2000 storage cassettes are arranged on both sides of the storage and retrieval machine. Decco can perform up to 35 double cycles per hour with the storage and retrieval machine.

The picking stations are separated from the storage system by fire doors. This made it possible to implement high fire protection requirements with relatively simple means, without too much effort on site and without disrupting the material flow.

Before investing in the honeycomb warehouse, Decco had to store some of the materials outdoors, which significantly affected the quality of the goods.

The covered goods receiving station is located outside the storage system. This means that truck deliveries can be unloaded very quickly and the climatically homogeneous conditions in the storage system are maintained.
