As one of the market leaders in ergonomics and acoustics, Veyhl is a specialized supplier for customers in the office and furniture industry. In 2012, Veyhl opted for a bridge storage system from Remmert in order to store bar material close to production. In the first expansion stage, the storage system offered space for material up to 6.5 meters long in over 340 cassettes. The material is retrieved via four longitudinal stations distributed over a length of more than 50 meters. In this way, four processing machines located directly in front of the storage system can be supplied with material in the shortest possible time. A transverse station is used for loading.
In the following years, the storage system was expanded to include more storage bays and an additional station.
