BASIC Tower EASY
The BASIC Tower EASY makes it easy to get started with automated storage of sheet metal and flat goods. The tower is reduced to the essentials and yet offers everything you need for space-saving storage with low personnel costs.
Fast return on investment
The BASIC Tower EASY is preconfigured in three sizes and optimized for the task of automatically storing 3015 sheets. By not requiring any options or engineering services, the investment costs are very low compared to individual storage solutions.
Easy control
All control elements are centrally located in a control box next to the storage tower. The desired storage compartment is simply selected via the touch display - the lifting beam does the rest.
Optional: WMS & ERP interface
An optional software extension offers the possibility of simple warehouse management and an ERP interface to higher-level systems.
BASIC Tower FLEX
The BASIC Tower FLEX can be adapted very flexibly to customer requirements: Material formats, heights, goods stations, direct connection to machines and IT systems - the modular system offers the right solution for almost all conditions.
Intuitive system control
The simplified graphical user interface of the touch panel makes it very easy to operate the sheet metal storage tower, even for unskilled operators.
Independent system integration
In combination with LaserFLEX Automation, BASIC Tower FLEX can be connected to laser cutting machines from a wide range of manufacturers. It is also possible to change the machine manufacturer at a later date.
Fast access times
The integrated lift stacker is characterized by its particularly fast access times to the system pallets. This means that connected laser machines can be supplied with material without interruption.

Double Tower
Two sheet metal storage towers can be combined into one unit as a double tower. In this case, at least one goods station is added, which can be designed as a transverse or longitudinal trolley.
Extension option
The second tower can be planned as a later extension. A tower with a lift stacker is installed first and the second tower is added later as required. In this way, the system grows with the requirements.
Effectivity
A lift stacker serves both sheet metal storage towers. This increases the storage capacity disproportionately to the investment costs.

Variable goods stations
BASIC Tower FLEX can be configured with various storage/retrieval stations. Longitudinal stations can be designed on one or two sides. Additional stopping points are also possible.
Optimized goods transfer
Thanks to the flexible design of the goods transfer stations, system layouts can be adapted very specifically to the spatial requirements on site.
Connectivity & Integrations
IT Integration
This module extends the WMS with a HOST interface. The local WMS is integrated into an existing network and exchanges data with the higher-level ERP or MES system via this network. This allows stocks and material master data to be managed centrally. It is also possible to connect to MES for production orders with automated material flows.
In combination with LaserFLEX Automation, the BASIC Tower FLEX represents a modular and manufacturer-independent solution for the full automation of laser cutting systems. The high degree of flexibility and adaptability gives the operator great freedom in the selection of suitable laser cutting machines.

Automated Guided Vehicles
Use the BASIC Tower FLEX as a decentralized warehouse extension or buffer warehouse. The Remmert AGV can be used for shuttle transport to the laser cutting center. The omnidirectional driving mode of the AGV allows the transfer situation under the BASIC Tower to be approached from the longitudinal or transverse side instead of a station wagon.

Racking
The racking is made of powder-coated structural steel profiles in welded and bolted form. The FLEX version is equipped with special profile rails on which the lifting traverse moves vertically. FLEX storage towers are prepared for subsequent expansion, e.g. to integrate a LaserFLEX automation system or a second tower.
FLEX Lifting Traverse
The lifting traverse is used to transport the system pallets to the racking system. The entire process is monitored by sensors to ensure optimum process reliability.
Unpacking table
The unpacking table facilitates the unpacking of delivered sheet metal packages. The punches of the unpacking table are covered with plastic caps to enable scratch-free handling that is gentle on the material. The stamp holder is designed so that the stamps can be offset to adapt to different wooden transport pallets.
Ejector frame
The ejector frame on a single-sided BASIC Tower is used to conveniently place the raw material on a raw material pallet. Depending on the position of the reference point, it can accommodate an alignment aid for sheets, on which the sheets can be deposited with pinpoint accuracy.
Warehouse Management Software
WMS Basic is modern warehouse management software that is specially tailored to Remmert sheet metal storage systems. It offers all the necessary functions for effective and clear sheet metal storage. The WMS is seamlessly integrated into the SMART Control control system.
Machine Interface
The machine interface coordinates the functional processes between the Remmert system and another machine. Information about interlocking signals and safety functions is exchanged for this purpose.
Safety Installation
The entire system is individually equipped with protective and safety equipment. This includes safety fences and gates, light barriers and safety and emergency stop controls.
Control Panel
The robust control panel features a built-in industrial PC pre-installed with Remmert software. The touchscreen interface provides intuitive control, with the most essential operational elements conveniently displayed.
