Space-saving Storage of Long and Bulky Goods
Use the room height to store your long goods, tools or metal parts. In the BASIC Tower, long goods can be stored safely and space-savingly up to a height of 8 m. Cassettes and/or trays can be used as load carriers to carry goods of different shapes and weights.
Safe and Fast Material Handling
Load carriers are automatically brought into a ready-to-hand position. Heavy and bulky loads can be easily moved by crane/manipulator or high lift truck. Dangerous overhead forklift handling is a thing of the past.
Storage Close to Production
As a single or double tower, the BASIC Tower can be set up free-standing in the immediate vicinity of the production areas. This reduces time, effort and distances for material transportation and increases productivity.
Optimal Goods Management
The BASIC Tower offers a unique way to ergonomically store a wide variety of goods in small quantities. Infinitely adjustable dividers create variable storage compartments within each cassette. With the optional WMS, all assets can be centrally managed on site at the terminal and via the ERP interface.
Integration Options
The BASIC Tower can be easily connected to sawing machines or ERP systems from various manufacturers. It is also possible to change the integrated machines and systems to other manufacturers at a later date.
Intuitive & Fast Operation
The BASIC Tower is easy to operate, even for non-specialist personnel. All operating elements are centrally located and intuitively designed. Simply select the desired item or storage compartment - the lift does the rest.
Versions
BASIC Tower Single
The BASIC Tower as a single tower is the most compact variant for storing small quantities. It can be set up free-standing or with its back to the wall.
Fast Installation & Commissioning
All components are supplied prefabricated for quick on-site assembly. This means the tower is ready for use in just a few days.
Compact Dimensions
Thanks to the very slim design with one-sided product presentation, the tower can be easily integrated into existing hall layouts.
BASIC Tower
Double Tower
The double tower solution offers even more storage capacity in the smallest possible space. The lifting beam serves two towers on both sides. Goods are presented via transverse or longitudinal stations.
Expendable
The double tower can initially be planned as a single tower with expansion potential. The second tower with goods station can be installed at a later date. This allows the BASIC Tower to grow with your requirements.
Diverse Goods Transfer
The transverse or longitudinal carriages can be installed on all sides of the double tower. This means that machines or processing stations can be operated on up to three sides of the tower.

For even more storage capacity, BASIC Tower double towers can be set up in a row. In this case, a longitudinal carriage moves underneath the towers.
Variable in Height
Each double tower in the row can be designed with different heights. This makes it possible, for example, to take full advantage of the space in a gabled hall.
Expandable
The addition of further double towers is also possible at a later date. Thus, the solution grows with your requirements.
Integrations
IT Integration
This module extends the WMS with a HOST interface. The local WMS is integrated into an existing network and exchanges data with the higher-level ERP or MES system via this network. This allows stocks and material master data to be managed centrally. It is also possible to connect to MES for production orders with automated material flows.
Automated Sawing Machines
In combination with the PICK system, a fully automated material flow to an automatic sawing machine can be set up. This means that sawing cells can be operated with very little manpower and high productivity.
Automated Guided Vehicles
Instead of a transverse or longitudinal station, the Remmert AGV can move the storage cassettes very flexibly to other locations. This gives you significantly more freedom in production and warehouse planning and reduces personnel costs.
BASIC Tower - Moduls & Options
Single Tower Rack
The racking system consists of powder-coated structural steel sections that are welded and bolted together. It is equipped with special profile rails on which the lift unit moves vertically. A grid arrangement is used to accommodate the self-supporting storage cassettes or trays.
Double Tower Rack
A second tower rack serves as an extension to the single BASIC Tower. In this case, the lifting unit moves between the tower racks and serves both sides. Goods stations take over the removal of the load carriers.
Lifting Unit
The lifting device is used to transport the load carriers on the racking system. The vertical lift is performed via low-maintenance gear drives, the horizontal extension/push via chain drive.
Load Carrier
Welded cassettes or trays are used as load carriers. Cassettes can carry up to 3 tons and are ideal for storing long goods and small parts. Trays can carry pallets or flat goods with a total weight of up to 2 tons.
Longitudinal Station
With the longitudinal station, cassettes and trays can be moved over the short sides of the BASIC Tower using rail-mounted carriages outside the safety area. A safety installation with light barriers ensures safe operation.
Cross Station
With the cross station, cassettes and trays can be moved along the long sides of the BASIC Tower using rail-mounted carriages outside the safety area. A safety installation with light barriers ensures safe operation.
Warehouse Management Software
PRO WMS is a modern and effective warehouse management software. It is optimally tailored to the requirements of intralogistics and offers a broad, customer-oriented range of services across its various modules.
Machine Interface
The machine interface coordinates the functional processes between the Remmert system and another machine. Information about interlocking signals and safety functions is exchanged for this purpose.
Safety Installation
The entire system is individually equipped with protective and safety equipment. This includes safety fences and gates, light barriers and safety and emergency stop controls.
Control Panel
The robust control panel features a built-in industrial PC pre-installed with Remmert software. The touchscreen interface provides intuitive control, with the most essential operational elements conveniently displayed.
